State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan tightens security on Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan border

The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic has tightened security on Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan border. Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, to ensure security in this area, border outposts and checkpoints, stationed on the perimeter, switched to heavy border protection regime with the involvement of additional troops. This is done in connection with the situation in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
