Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivers protest note to Minister-Counsellor of Kazakh Embassy in KR

The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry has called Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan Erbol Akhmetov, the official website of the ministry reported.

During the meeting, the Kazakh party was handed a note of protest in connection with the statements of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the neighboring country Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, published by the Kazakh media on May 24, 2016.

"It was noted that insulting and undeliberate tone of statements by Arystanbek Mukhamediuly in respect of the Kyrgyz Republic, which caused a negative response among the general public of Kyrgyzstan, don't meet the spirit of allied bilateral relations," the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs drew attention of the Kazakh party to the recent increase in the facts of biased statements against our republic, including broadcasting on public channels of Kazakhstan.
