Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov meets with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon

Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the department of information support of the Cabinet reported.

According to it, the meeting was held in Dushanbe. The head of the Kyrgyz government arrived in Tajikistan to attend the opening ceremony of the construction of facilities for CASA-1000 project. The participants of the meeting discussed a number of issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that the implementation of CASA-1000 project will increase the energy potential of the participating countries. In addition, he expressed confidence that the meeting with President of Tajikistan will be an additional impetus to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
