Funder of terrorists arrested in Kyrgyzstan

The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan detained a Kyrgyz citizen, who is suspected of financing terrorists. Press service of the National Security Committee reported.++

It is noted that the 32-year-old native of Osh region in 2012 studied at religious schools in Egypt and Syria. There he met with the leaders of gangs of an international terrorist organization.

 In 2012, the Kyrgyzstani organized business together with them in one of the Arab countries for financing of terrorist groups.

He returned to Kyrgyzstan in January 2015. The man opened own business here and continued to transfer money to terrorists.

The detainee was placed in jail of SCNS. Investigation is underway.
