Border guards extort from foreigner $ 300 in Manas airport

A criminal case was initiated against the employees of border control department and Manas airport checkpoint, who extorted $ 300 from a foreigner. The Prosecutor General's Office of Kyrgyzstan reported.

As noted, the military prosecutor's office when checking the operation of the checkpoint revealed other violations. In particular, border guards illegally let the minors pass through the state border without the consent of their father to traveling outside the country.

Criminal case under Article 304 "Abuse of official position" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan was initiated.
