Prosecutor General's Office accuses patrol police of illegal purchase of 65 cars

Main Directorate of the Patrol Police illegally purchased 65 cars. Press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.++

According to it, the main oversight body and the Private Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have checked MDPP.

It has been established that the directorate has violated the requirements of the law on public procurement, announcing winner of the tender a company that does not meet the requirements and bought 65 cars for 25.7 million soms.

The Prosecutor General's Office believes that all participants of the tender did not meet the requirements. Therefore, it should have been declared invalid.

Following the results of audit, a criminal case was initiated for abuse of office and misuse of budget funds.
