Members of extremist organization detained in Kyrgyzstan (photo)

Two members of Hizb ut-Tahrir religious extremist organization were detained in Karakol town. Public Relations Department of the State Committee for National Security reported.

According to it, they promoted the idea of building a caliphate and the overthrow of the constitutional order. The detainees were found and confiscated DVD, religious books, leaflets and magazines.

A criminal case was initiated, investigation is ongoing.
