About 4 kg of heroin confiscated in Kyrgyzstan over week

About 4 kilograms of heroin were confiscated in Kyrgyzstan over week - from May 10 till May 15, at least 3 drug-related crimes were detected. The State Drug Control Service reported.

Thus, the head of medical unit of Osh Interregional Narcology Center was detained on May 11.  On May 3, he illegally issued a prescription for the purchase of 40 pills of Phenobarbital- psychotropic medication.

 At least 3,862 kilograms of heroin were found during search in a house of Kyrgyz citizen on May 15 in Dostuk micro district of Jalal-Abad.

Criminal cases were initiated on all the facts.
