Newborn sold for 20,000 soms in Chui region

Panfilov District Department of Interior is investigating the criminal case on the fact of sale of a newborn. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

 According to it, a married couple, who have sold the baby, was detained in Chui region. In late March, a woman, 1976, gave birth to a boy. After discharge from the hospital, she and her spouse sold the baby for 20,000 soms to a resident of Chui region.

The suspects have already pleaded guilty. They were put in jail for two months.

 As investigation found out, the woman has two children from different husbands. The newborn was temporarily placed in a hospital. The investigation is underway.
