Six drug-related crimes were revealed in Kyrgyzstan last week (March 28 - April 3), the State Drug Control Service reported.
There were seized 8,389 kg of drugs, including 1 kg of hashish, 7,382 kg of marijuana. Estimated cost is 200,000 soms.
According to the department, a native of Taldy-Suu village was detained in Telekmat village of Jeti-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region on March 30. The search of his bag revealed 4.1 kg of marijuana.
On March 31, the search with the help of military working dog Aris in Kuturgu village of Tyup district discovered 2,767 kg of marijuana, belonging to a native of Issyk-Kul region.
A native of Naryn region was detained in Moldovanovka village of Alamudun district, Chui region on March 3. At least 946.9 grams of hashish were seized.
Criminal cases were opened on all the facts.
