Criminal case launched against 2 men inciting to conflict on Kyrgyzstan- Uzbekistan border

Two men, who shot a video with a call to the conflict on the border with Uzbekistan, have been detained. Press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs for the southern capital and Osh region informed 24.kg news agency.

 According to them, the local residents informed the police that on March 20 there appeared a video in which a man addressed to the citizens and said that the border issue in Aksy district can be resolved by force and called to go there.

There have been detained residents of Kara-Tash rural area, Nookat district: N.M., 1986 (unemployed father of two children, has no criminal records) and a man, who shoot a video - M.K., 1986. "According to one of the detainees, discussing with a friend the situation on the border, they made a video and decided to put the call on the World Wide Web. However, he assured that they were not going to go to Aksy district," the press service explained.

Criminal case under Article 234 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code has been initiated on the fact. The detainees were released with travel restrictions. The investigation is underway.
