Employees of the State Customs Service and the State Drug Control Service seized in Bishkek the day before 12 kilogram of heroin, destined for smuggling into Russia. The State Customs Service reported.

As the detainee explained, he planned to transport the batch through Ak-Zhol checkpoint of Kyrgyz-Kazakh border for onward delivery to the customer in Russia.
A criminal case under article 247 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan was initiated on the fact.
