Over 35 kg of drugs are withdrew from illegal trafficking for two weeks

Over 35 kg of drugs were withdrawn from illegal trafficking for two weeks, the State Service for Drug Control of the KR reported.

According to it, since March 16 till April 6 the service has solved 16 crimes, 12,330 kg of hashish and 22,940 kg of marijuana were withdrawn from illegal trafficking.

So, on March 28 in Karakol town during the inspection of local resident's house there were withdrawn 8.8 kg of marijuana. The next day, while house-checking of Balykchy resident's house 1,130 kg of drugs were found.

At least 1.51 kg of marijuana was found on April 1 in a house of a resident of Tyup district. On the same day 1,475 kg of hashish were withdrawn during the inspection in Bishkek. A 34-year-old local resident was arrested on April 2 in Talas. During the personal inspection 4,180 kg of marijuana were found.

Criminal cases were opened upon all facts.
