Responsible people

Have you noticed how people change once they cross the threshold of parliament, clutching a coveted parliamentary mandate? Often unknown to anyone, coming to the parliament on party lists, they begin to behave as if the red booklet and a badge on the lapel erect them in the rank of gods. And at the same time confer the right to punish, to sling mud at each other, judge and teach. And demand that almost every word was perceived with respect and awe.

One of the last, but very illustrative examples was the discussion a new Attorney General Indira Dzholdubaeva in the Parliament. Some deputies admonished fatherly, strongly emphasizing her "young" age, hinted on whom criminal proceedings shouldn't be issued, enthusiastically framing up kinship. And, as usual, didn't hesitate to scold for lack of knowledge of the state language. After such deputy pressure, few people interested in the competence and experience of the candidate, that, in my opinion, is not the last thing for the Attorney General.

Noteworthy is tact of deputies. For example a profound remark of Azhibai Kalmamatov: "Indira Dzholdubaeva is only 35 years old. This is her only drawback. But I think that in five years it will be fixed." Although they often omitting tact, bite someone's head off, and can even fight. But they are very sensitive, as children, to the criticism in their address. Apparently, the radiance of halos hinders to notice their own shortcomings.

And it is not a secret, how deputies like to teach ministers and officials of lower rank, put on the right track. But often they possess information badly, confuse in numbers, but interfere in unknown wilds without hesitation, so much that the incompetence of individual members becomes the talk of the town. There is also a cohort of those who did silent at the meetings of Parliament. Whether they live on the principle "silence is golden", whether simply don't have anything to say.

And deputies live for some unknown to the common people laws. Any criminal proceedings against deputy immediately go into the category of contract and politically motivated. Theft, embezzlement suddenly loses their significance, and colleagues, without confusion, vehemently protect smeared in the most nefarious deeds. And the current composition of the parliament broke all records on the number of deputies who have been involved in criminal investigations. And on the number of those who have lost mandates as a result of lawsuits. Not all of them went to jail, however, taint their reputation. And not only their own. Nevertheless always defend their colleagues with a maniacal fury.

Don't forget the case on a higher education diploma of member of Ar-Namys faction Nurlan Torobekov. The General Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal investigation on the use of false documents and asked to deprive him of deputy immunity. Parliamentary Commission conducted its investigation and concluded: Diploma wasn't issued to the deputy.

Soon the issue of removing deputy immunity was considered at the meeting of Parliament, which once again shown the true nature of the current composition of the parliament. "How could supervisor to come to Parliament and ask to remove deputy immunity! There is such a thing as insignificance of violations. Criminal proceedings can't be initiated on such facts, - the deputy Kurmantai Abdiev outraged. - Fabricate the case and slander deputies to the whole world. Shame on you!"

And other colleagues zealously supported Nurlan Torobekov, noting that he studied and he is very responsible person. As a result, the lucky preserved his immunity, and the law triumphed once again. Well, the one on which celestials of the White House live.

Yes, the parliament can boast taking reasonable and important laws, but this work is drowning in the sea of frankly delusional initiatives, nonsense and eternal scandals coming from tribune...

Only a few months left till the election of a new parliament, but now it's time to think: if we want to see the current figures and "responsible people" there? I'm more inclined to a negative response.
