Kyrgyzstan to issue 2 more collectors’ coins till end of 2016

Kyrgyzstan will issue 2 more collectors' coins till the end of 2016. Acting Head of the Monetary Policy Department of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Medina Ashiralieva told today at a press conference.

According to her, the National Bank plans to issue a collector coin from the series "The Age of the Great Kyrgyz khanate" and a silver coin from the series "Red Book of Kyrgyzstan" with Aigul flower.

The price of collectors' coins is determined on the basis of actual costs, the cost of metal and production. It is virtually impossible to forge it. There were no such cases in the country.

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan mints collectible coins in the Kazakhstan Mint. Kyrgyzstan has no ability to print banknotes and mint coins. It is unlikely that it will appear in the near future because of the complex process and the lack of specialists, Medina Ashiralieva said.
