The Ministry of Finance spends about one million soms on stationery anually.

The Ministry of Finance has posted on the public procurement portal an announcement for the purchase of office supplies at 548,800 soms.

The ministry told 24.kg news agency that the goods are bought for 2017. The list includes calculators, pens and ink reservoirs, markers, pencils, rulers, scissors, knives for opening letters, punches, and 3 kg of office paper.

It should be noted that last year the Ministry of Finance has bought similar stationery at 1,046 million soms. Financiers needed 6.1 tons of paper.

In 2016, the agency has bought office paper at 160,000 soms and stationery at 99,900 soms. The last purchase was made by the conclusion of direct contract.

Totally, this year the Finance Ministry spent on office supplies 808,700 soms.
