Kyrgyzstan can carry goods through Kazakhstan by any transport

The transit of Kyrgyz goods through Kazakhstan is possible by any transport. Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov stated at today's meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic and fiscal policy.

He noted that incorrect information that the Kyrgyz goods could be carried through the neighboring republic by rail only has been spread at the beginning of the year. The ban related to quarantineable products.

"Russia, Belarus and Armenia agreed to recognize the system of veterinary control in Kyrgyzstan equivalent to EEU standards. Only Kazakhstan is against. Therefore, Russia has permitted the import of meat and dairy products from Kyrgyzstan into its territory to those enterprises that are included in the register. Kazakhstan is committed to ensure unhampered movement of goods. We have an official letter from the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. It clearly states that the Republic of Kazakhstan allows the transit of our goods, subject to veterinary inspection, by any transport," Oleg Pankratov said.
