Dairy products export from Kyrgyzstan to EEU increases 3 times over year

The volume of exports of dairy products from Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union in 2016 increased 3 times. Information Support Department of the government's executive office reported.

It was noted that in 2016 there have been exported 22,000 tons of diary, and in 2015 - 5,900.

According to Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Kalysbek Zhumakanov, this became possible thanks to inclusion of 19 domestic enterprises on the production of animal products into a single EEU register, 8 of them produce dairy products.

Therewith, there is observed a decrease in imports of dairy products from abroad. Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov stressed that this is one of the positive aspects of the participation of Kyrgyzstan in the integration association.
