Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin mentioned the migrants from the EEU countries, especially from Kyrgyzstan as one of the city's problems. He stated this at a meeting on the prevention of crime, local media reported.
Sergey Sobyanin said that migrants from Kyrgyzstan do not document employment relationship, don't pay taxes and often live in the industrial zones in unsanitary conditions. Now authorities are looking for ways to legislatively solve the problem, the mayor added.
He asked Moscow police together with the people's patrol to continue to identify and prevent illegal migration in the capital.
