Kurmanjan Datka filmmakers to be nominated for State Prize 

The new board of the Union of Cinematographers of Kyrgyzstan decided to nominate Kurmanjan Datka filmmakers for the State Prize named after Toktogul. The union reported.

According to it, the board members decided to nominate Kurmanjan Datka creators - stage director Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, script writer Bakytbek Turdubaev, camera director Murat Aliyev, leading actors Nazira Mambetova and Elina Abay kyzy - for the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Toktogul.

State Prize named after Toktogul is awarded for outstanding work in the field of literature, music, movie, sculpture and architecture, theater and visual arts that made a great contribution to the enrichment and convergence of the multinational culture of Kyrgyzstan. The State Prize is awarded every three years.
