2nd World Nomad Games gains international recognition

The UN General Assembly has recognized the contribution of the World Nomad Games to intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, peace and development, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

At its 67^th plenary session, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution "Promotion of interreligious and intercultural dialogue for the benefit of mutual understanding and cooperation for the sake of peace." The document states about the contribution of the games to these processes.

Thus, the World Nomad Games gained international recognition as an instrument for inter-religious and intercultural dialogue, understanding and cooperation for the sake of peace.
