Nursultan Azykbaev to represent Kyrgyzstan at New Wave 2016 contest

A resident of Bishkek Nursultan Azykbaev will represent Kyrgyzstan at New Wave 2016 contest of young pop singers.

The 21-year-old Nursultan is a student of the Kyrgyz State Musical College named after Murataly Kurenkeev on a class of flute. New Wave-2016 is a debut for the young artist. As the contestant told, he likes to play football, in the winter - snowboarding. His dream is to leave a mark in the industry of world music culture and sing a duet with Stevie Wonder.

Nursultan Azykbaev plans to write a lot of good music. "My favorite subjects at school were fine arts and literature, the unloved - chemistry and mathematics. I was called Chacha at school because I had long hair. Great happiness for me is to gather at the festive table with the whole family. The most long-awaited holiday is New Year," he told, adding that he is working on his debut album.
