Movie of Kyrgyz director wins Gran Prix of Eurasia International Film Festival

The Film Heavenly Normadic directed by Mirlan Abdykalykov (Kyrgyzstan) won the main award of Eurasia International Film Festival, Kazinform reported.

As it is noted, winners of the 11th International Film Festival Eurasia and the first Almaty Festival Shaken's Stars have been chosen in Almaty.

Fatima Motamed-Arya took the first place in "Best Actress" category for her role in Nabat movie directed by Elchin Musaoglu (Azerbaijan). The prize in "Best actor" category went to Erzhan Nurymbetov for his role in Jat film by Ermek Tursunov (Kazakhstan).

The film Nabat, directed by Elchin Musaoglu (Azerbaijan), was the first in "Best director work" category. A special prize was awarded to the director Aditya Vikram Sengupta for the film Favorite business (India).

 Jury of FIPRESCI and NETPAC estimated the competition program of Shaken's Stars Festival. The "Best Film" award went to The Barrier by Kazakh director Zhasulan Poshanov.

Film by Doskhan Zholzhaksynov Kunanbay (Kazakhstan) got prize "for disclosure of difficult historical drama of an entire people, superbly played by the cast, and, the most importantly, understandable outside the country".

 The movie Heaven camel directed by Yuri Feting (Russia) became the best movie in Eurasia Kids («Children of Eurasia") competition.
