ACT Airlines: Crashed Boeing-747 landed in Bishkek to leave cargo

Crashed in the morning of January 16 near Manas airport cargo aircraft Boeing 747 landed not for refueling, but to leave the cargo, a representative of the company - owner of ACT Airlines aircraft Ayşe Kynran said.

According to her, the plane had enough fuel. "This was out of question. The plane landed in Bishkek to disembark. There were no dangerous goods aboard," she said.

The letter from ACT Airlines said that the company's planes landed at Manas airport more than 50 times before the crash. The company has denied the information that the aircraft tried to land several times.

Aircraft Boeing 747-400 crashed in the morning of January 16 on homes in the village Dacha SU near Manas airport. The aircraft was flying along Hong Kong - Bishkek - Istanbul route.

Earlier, First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev said that the aircraft was to land in Bishkek for refueling.

According to the Ministry of Health Care, the plane crash killed 38 people.
