Nursultan Nazarbayev: People of Kyrgyzstan proved that want to live in worthy state

"People of Kyrgyzstan proved that want to live in worthy state," the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at opening of a meeting of the CIS Council of the Heads of State in a narrow format.

He congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan and personally Almazbek Atambayev on the successful holding of parliamentary elections on October 4th. "For the first time in many years, the elections were held peacefully. The people of Kyrgyzstan proved their wisdom. People showed that want to live in a peaceful country. Hopefully, the new composition of the Parliament will contribute to building of sovereign and strong Kyrgyzstan," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

The President of Kazakhstan congratulated Alexander Lukashenko with a confident victory in the presidential election.

Recall, CEC officially summed up the results of parliamentary elections yesterday, on October 15.
