Ukraine-Kyrgyzstan direct flights planned in nearest future

In the nearest future it is planned to start operating direct flights between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolai Doroshenko said.

 According to him, the State Aviation Service of Ukraine sent a request to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz side for opening Kiev - Bishkek flights. "We have already chosen Atlasjet Ukraine airline, which has received the green light for the implementation of this flight," the Ambassador added.

He stressed that Kyrgyzstanis will have an opportunity to fly to Europe via Kiev, as this airline operates flights to the Schengen countries.

Recall, flights from Kyrgyzstan to Ukraine were previously performed via Moscow. But after Ukraine has imposed ban on flights of Russian airlines, Kyrgyz citizens had to choose other transit countries, in particular Turkey.
