Bishkek streets will be repaired for Chinese money. Mayor Albek Ibraimov and Advisor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of China Sun He signed a relevant protocol.

According to the document, the first phase will repair 49 streets with a total length of 95 km. Total cost - 481 million yuan (4.8 billion KGS).

The project is implemented in cooperation with Chinese companies. Also, the Chinese party will send in Bishkek experts and engineers for road construction. The main operator of the project from Bishkek mayor's office is management of capital construction.

The tender will be announced in the near future, and the work will begin in the third week of August. A joint Kyrgyz-Chinese commission will inspect the implementation, quality, the project safety.
